Have you ever been disappointed by one of the people you love most? Do you keep pushing and putting in efforts in a particular thing but have nothing to show for it? Did you give all of you to somebody and he or she shattered your heart like everything wasn’t genuine?
Maybe, sometimes, you wonder why you’re the only different one amongst your peers. Almost everybody you know celebrates an achievement every month but here you are with nothing to show for it despite having to work your ass out.
Every week, you send out application mails but all you receive is rejection mails and sometimes no response at all.
You’re about to give up but the voice keeps saying “You can’t stop now, you’re closer to your victory than you imagine”. You don’t believe it because you’ve been hearing the same sentence for a over a year.
Many times, I wonder why we have to go through certain things in life. Can’t they just be skipped or optional?
But, I realized how boring life could be if we always got what we wanted, if everything just went smoothly and there was no struggle whatsoever, no matter how small. You might probably disagree with me, but it’s fine. While life might not be fair to you in the areas you desire the most, there are some areas where life has been or still is fair to you. Think deeply.
Maybe related: It’s the 11th of July, 6 days after I decided to start writing this blog post. Depending on whenever I publish this, you’d know how many days it took me to write this(actually, how many days after I decided to publish this).
Somebody shared this and I realized how similar it is to the blog post you’re currently reading.
The question is “what do you do when you think everything isn’t going like you want it to?”
Do you wallow in your “misery” or summon the courage to keep pushing and determine to pull though no matter what what life throws at you?
“Our situation doesn’t make us; we make our situation. Our circumstances don’t have to define us; we can redefine our circumstances by our actions”.
Truth is, no matter the stage you get to in life, there’s always a challenge to face. As we progress, some challenges go and new ones comes in. There’s always something to battle with.
But the best part is that we don’t have to go through it alone. There’s a supernatural advantage we have to help us navigate through life. You guessed right, it’s God(The Father, Son and Holyspirit).
I know sometimes, it feels like he isn’t there because he keeps allowing “bad” things happen to a good person like you. Many times, he’s silent about the things that keeps you up late at night.
But, that doesn’t mean he isn’t God or he doesn’t love you. He ‘s always present, sometimes, you just don’t see it. I want you to know that there’s an end to whatever hardship or challenge you’re facing. Just like you’ve probably heard “You can’t stop now, you’re closer to your victory than you imagine”. This time, you truly have to believe it.
Very soon, all you’ll share is good news, all you’ll see when you look at yourself will be nothing but a wonder. You will brag without an ounce of doubt that God is good to you. No matter what you’re going through, you’ll let the whole world know that he’s still God in your life.
You’ll determine to stop self pity or give up just because somethings didn’t work out for you. Because he said you can do all things because he gives you strength, you’ll pick up yourself and get to work, determined to push through and win.
Now, this brings me to my main title LIFE IS NOT FAIR – GOD MY UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.
